Ingredients
- Dark Rum2 oz
- Orange Juice1 oz
- Pineapple Juice1 oz
- Grenadine0.5 oz
- Fresh Lime Juice0.5 oz
- Soda Water2 oz
- Tropical Fruits1 garnish
Method
- Add dark rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine, and lime juice to shaker with ice
- Shake well and strain into collins glass filled with ice
- Top with soda water
- Garnish with tropical fruits and umbrella

- The Jamaican original uses Myers's dark rum; substitutes change the character.
- Overproof (Wray & Nephew) float on top is traditional and spectacular.
- Fresh-grated nutmeg, always. Don't use pre-ground; you're not at a diner.
