Ingredients
- Tequila2 oz
- Orange Liqueur1 oz
- Fresh Lime Juice1 oz
- Salt1 rim
- Lemon Wheel1 piece
Method
- Rim glass with salt
- Add tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice to shaker with ice
- Shake vigorously and strain into salt-rimmed glass over ice
- Garnish with lime wheel
Pro Tips
- Use 100% agave tequila — mixto ruins it no matter how much you fix around it.
- Fresh lime, no triple sec shortcuts. Cointreau specifically is what makes a Margarita.
- Salt the rim only halfway around — lets the drinker choose each sip.
