Ingredients
- White Rum1 oz
- Dark Rum1 oz
- Passion Fruit Syrup1 oz
- Fresh Lemon Juice0.5 oz
- Orange Wheel1 piece
- Maraschino Cherry1 piece
Method
- Add light rum, dark rum, passion fruit syrup, and lemon juice to shaker with ice
- Shake vigorously and strain into hurricane glass filled with ice
- Garnish with orange wheel and cherry
Pro Tips
- Pat O'Brien's is the original, but Passion Fruit SYRUP (Giffard) beats juice for consistency.
- Use a passion fruit with wrinkled skin (ripe) if using fresh — smooth is under-ripe.
