Original recipe: "Beat up one egg with a pinch of ground cloves, the same of cinnamon, the juice of a quarter of a lemon, half a tablespoonful fine sugar, one jigger Jamaica rum; when well mixed divide into two hot-drink glasses, fill with boiling water; stir and serve."

Method
- Add sugar and aged jamaican rum to mixing glass with ice
- Stir until well chilled
- Strain into chilled rocks glass
