Ingredients
- Blanco Tequila2 oz
- Cointreau0.75 oz
- Fresh Lime Juice1 oz
- Simple Syrup0.5 oz
- Kosher Salt1 rim
- Crushed Ice1.5 cups
- Lime Wheel1 piece
Method
- Salt rim of coupe
- Add tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and simple syrup to blender
- Add 1.5 cups crushed ice
- Blend until smooth and thick
- Pour into prepared coupe
- Garnish with lime wheel
Pro Tips
- Don't over-blend — 8-10 seconds max. Over-blending creates water.
- Use fresh lime — the pre-made frozen margarita mix is sweet-sour-slurry shame.
- A float of Grand Marnier on top (like a Cadillac Margarita) elevates this significantly.
