Ingredients

  • Gold Rum1.5 oz
  • Honey Syrup0.5 oz
  • Fresh Lime Juice0.5 oz
  • Champagne3 oz
  • Lime Wheel1 piece

Method

  1. Add rum, honey syrup, and lime juice to shaker with ice
  2. Shake hard
  3. Strain into chilled flute
  4. Top with Champagne
  5. Garnish with lime wheel

Pro Tips

  • Honey + lime + rum + Champagne — an air-mail envelope's worth of flavor.
  • White rum, not dark — the Champagne can't carry too much depth.
  • Freshly squeezed lime is mandatory; bottled ruins the drink's clean profile.
