Whiskey · Rocks
The original cocktail as defined in 1806. Jerry Thomas's 1862 recipe represents the true 'Old Fashioned' - simply whiskey, sugar, bitters, and water. This is the foundation of all American mixology.

Pro Tips
- 1862 Jerry Thomas spec — rye + sugar + bitters + lemon peel + water. This IS the Old Fashioned's ancestor.
- Sugar cube muddled with bitters and a tiny splash of water dissolves properly.
- A single large lemon peel, expressed over drink, then discarded — not dropped in.
