From Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler (1900). Original recipe: "One lump ice in a whiskey-glass; add one dash Peyschaud bitters, two dashes orange bitters, one small piece lemon-peel, one jigger Tom gin. Mix with small bar-spoon. Serve."

Ingredients

Method
- Add ice in a whiskey-glass, orange bitters, and old tom gin to mixing glass with ice
- Stir until well chilled
- Strain into chilled rocks glass
