Ingredients
- Vanilla Vodka1.5 oz
- Pumpkin Purée0.5 oz
- Spiced Simple Syrup0.5 oz
- Heavy Cream0.75 oz
- Graham Cracker Crumbs1 rim
- Ground Nutmeg1 pinch
Method
- Rim coupe with graham cracker crumbs
- Add vodka, pumpkin purée, spiced syrup, and cream to shaker with ice
- Shake hard
- Double strain into prepared coupe
- Dust with ground nutmeg
Pro Tips
- Real pumpkin purée (canned is fine, not pie filling) is what makes this taste like pie, not syrup.
- Home-made pumpkin spice is better than McCormick's — equal cinnamon/ginger, less clove, tiny pinch cardamom.
- Toast the graham-cracker rim under a broiler for 30 seconds for a browned-crust aroma.
