From Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler (1900). Original recipe: "A mixing-glass one-fourth full fine ice, the juice of half a lemon, one-half tablespoonful fine sugar, one jigger Tom gin, one jigger full prepared pistache cream; shake well, strain into fizz-glass, fill with seltzer."

Ingredients

Method
- Add sugar, old tom gin, and full prepared pistache cream to shaker with ice
- Shake hard
- Strain into chilled rocks glass
