Old-Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail

Original recipe: "Dissolve a small lump of sugar with a little water in a whiskey-glass; add two dashes Angostura bitters, a small piece ice, a piece lemon-peel, one jigger whiskey. Mix with small bar-spoon and serve, leaving spoon in the glass."

Ingredients
- Angostura Bitters2 dashes
- Lemon Peel1 piece
- whiskey2 oz
Method
- Add angostura bitters and whiskey to mixing glass with ice
- Stir until well chilled
- Strain into chilled rocks glass
- Garnish with lemon peel
