From Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler (1900). Original recipe: "Dissolve one lump of cut-loaf sugar with a little hot water in a hot-drink glass, add one jigger Scotch whiskey and a small piece lemon-peel, fill with boiling water; mix, grate a little nutmeg on top."

Ingredients
- Sugar Cube1 lump
- Blended Scotch Whisky2 oz
Method
- Add blended scotch whisky to blender with 1 cup crushed ice
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into rocks glass
