From Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler (1900). Original recipe: "Half a jigger calasaya, half a jigger whiskey, one small piece lemon-peel, half a mixing-glass full fine ice. Mix well and strain into a cocktail-glass."

Method
- Add calasaya and whiskey to mixing glass with ice
- Stir until well chilled
