Ingredients

  • Scotch Whiskey2 oz
  • Boiling Water2 oz
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Lemon Peel1 twist

Method

  1. Warm two silver mugs with hot water
  2. In one mug, combine 2 oz Scotch whiskey and 2 oz boiling water
  3. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and stir to dissolve
  4. CAREFULLY ignite the mixture
  5. While flaming, pour the mixture between the two mugs in a continuous stream
  6. Repeat this 4-5 times, creating an arc of flame
  7. Serve in the mug with a lemon twist
  8. SAFETY: Practice with cold liquid first, have fire extinguisher ready
