Ingredients

  • Dry Sherry1.5 oz
  • Dry Vermouth1.5 oz
  • Orange Bitters2 dashes
  • Angostura Bitters1 dash
  • Lemon Peel1 twist

Method

  1. Add sherry, vermouth, and both bitters to mixing glass with ice
  2. Stir until very cold
  3. Strain into chilled coupe
  4. Garnish with lemon twist

Pro Tips

  • Dry sherry + dry vermouth + orange bitters — a pre-Prohibition classic.
  • Fino or manzanilla sherry, not amontillado; dry is the point.
  • Stir, strain into a coupe — treat it like a Martini.
