Ingredients
- Kahlúa0.5 oz
- Bailey's Irish Cream0.5 oz
- Grand Marnier0.5 oz
Method
- Prep: Chill all three liqueurs for easier layering
- Glassware: Select shot glass
- Build: Pour 0.5 oz Kahlúa into shot glass as bottom layer
- Layer: Hold bar spoon upside down and slowly pour 0.5 oz Bailey's Irish Cream over the back to form middle layer
- Layer: Clean spoon and slowly pour 0.5 oz Grand Marnier over the back to form top layer
- Serve: Serve immediately with all three layers visible

- Layer in order of density: Kahlúa (heaviest), Bailey's, Grand Marnier (lightest)
- Pour each layer very slowly over the back of a bar spoon
- Use the real brands - substitutions affect both flavor and layering ability
- Some bartenders light the Grand Marnier for a flaming version
