Ingredients
- Amontillado Sherry3 oz
- Fresh Orange Slices2 pieces
- Fresh Lemon Juice0.25 oz
- Simple Syrup0.5 oz
- Mint Sprig1 piece
- Seasonal Berries3 pieces
Method
- Fill wine glass with crushed ice
- Add sherry, orange slices, lemon juice, and simple syrup
- Churn with a bar spoon to combine
- Top with more crushed ice
- Garnish with orange wheel, mint, and berries
Pro Tips
- Amontillado sherry hits the ideal sweet spot; fino is too dry, oloroso too heavy.
- Churn it with a bar spoon, not shake — you want aeration without over-dilution.
- Fresh berries in peak season make all the difference; frozen in the winter works but is sadder.
