Ingredients

  • White Port2 oz
  • Tonic Water4 oz
  • Mint Sprig1 piece
  • Lime Wedge1 piece

Method

  1. Fill wine glass with ice
  2. Add white port
  3. Top with tonic water
  4. Stir briefly
  5. Garnish with mint sprig and lime wedge

Pro Tips

  • White port, not ruby — ruby port is for chocolate desserts, not spritzes.
  • Fonseca White or Taylor's Chip Dry are reliably available.
  • A mint sprig lifts the drink — without it, the port tastes slightly plodding.
