Fancy Brandy Cocktail
Classic · Brandy · Coupe glass
From Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler (1900). Original recipe: "Fill a mixing-glass half-full fine ice, add three dashes maraschino, two dashes Peyschaud or Angostura bitters, one jigger brandy, one dash orange bitters. Mix. Strain into fancy cocktail-glass, the rim of which has been moistened with a piece of lemon and dipped in powdered sugar, which gives it the appearance of being frosted."
