Brandy Punch

From Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler (1900). Original recipe: "A mixing-glass half-full fine ice, add one tablespoonful fine sugar, the juice of half a lemon, one jigger brandy; shake well, serve on ice in long thin glass, trim with fruit. Serve with straws."

Method
- Add sugar and brandy to mixing glass with ice
- Stir until well chilled
- Strain into chilled rocks glass
